Laurie graduated from the three year massage therapy course at Algonquin College. The course at Algonquin enabled her to experience treating a wide variety of conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, Dislocations, Over-use injuries, Respiratory and Cardiovascular conditions, Sports injuries and Whiplash. Laurie also completed placements at the Civic Hospital working with new born infants and pregnant mother, St Luc's Elementary School with developmentally handicapped children, Carleton University with athletes as well as a scar tissue clinic.
